Job Description

Seeking a Program Manager 3 (Facilities) for the Electronic Warfare Group Edwards AFB CA.

 

Essential Job Functions:

Support Technical Interchange Meetings (TIM), System Requirements Reviews, Working Groups, Design Reviews, and Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) to include any benchmarking or evaluation tests.

Assist with reviewing facility/equipment design documentation and drawings, software requirements to provide advice to division leadership in addition to monitoring and reporting on schedule and performance.

Assist with identifying the requirements and specifications for hardware, software, or equipment.

Develop/update/review of requirements document specifications proposals.

Assist in the development all required program plans, schedules and documents, Project Management Plans, Communication Plans, and others as requested or required.

Develop and manage division project/maintenance dashboard.

Manage and update project execution presentation materials.

Participate in vendor reviews and provide technical assessments, as required.

Develop and prepare templates and activity reports.

Provide advice and assist in feasibility assessments of proposed designs.

Participate in program/project contract meetings, reviews, and TIMs.

Participate as technical advisor in the review of Contractor documents.

Assist in the resolution of requirements issues and technical questions.

Provide support to the PM on project plans, schedules, and briefings.

Support the system integration efforts.

Support system testing and create reports of results.

Assist in the review of Acquisition documentation and contractor developed technical data.

Participate and assist in Site Support Division Configuration Management Process.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

A High School Diploma or GED plus 13 years of experience, an Associates degree plus 7 years of experience, a Bachelors Degree plus 5 years of experience or a Masters degree plus 4 years of experience is required.

Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance within 6-9 months of hire.

Minimum 1 year experience managing maintenance and facility related projects.

MS Project and office suite experience required.

Desired Skills: 

An expert with minimum 1 year experience monitoring and reporting status of Facility/equipment and maintenance projects, providing advice and assistance in support.
