We continue to provide innovative solutions with our multidisciplinary teams formed with exceptional employees.  We are seeking a dynamic, team oriented, energetic, and customer focused Test Engineer to support our U.S. Air Force customer’s Life Support System Scientific Test Analysis and Qualification (LSS STAQ) Lab located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.  This is an in-person position.  You will be working with a group of Managers, Engineers, and Technicians, with the responsibility of defining requirements and leading the technical efforts of experiments that test and characterize properties of life support systems.

Essential Job Functions:

Maintain relationships with customers and attend engineering meetings to develop future test efforts.

Develop test plans and lab test agreements with customer and Lab Manager concurrence prior to start of all tests.

Develop and maintain LabVIEW testing interface and data acquisition system.

Create and maintain various data science tools to expedite post test data analysis and graph building.

Maintain lab electrical systems to include running new wires, creating electrical connections, and soldering.

Develop drawings for lab equipment and tooling in 3D CAD using SOLIDWORKS.

Develop customer updates, test plans, and test reports that meet deadlines and technical requirements as agreed upon with the customer.

Lead all project actions including verification of equipment readiness, calibration, documentation, setup, execution, and reporting.

Ensure test methods, work instructions, and engineering standards used are current and relevant.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. citizenship is required.

At least a bachelor's degree in engineering field (Computer Science/Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering Preferred), with at least 2 years of related experience.  

Experience creating and following test plans tailored to military testing standards.

Experience with LabVIEW and Python.

Experience developing software to interface with a variety of hardware components.

Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Desired Skills:

Proficiency with using CAD software (SOLIDWORKS).

Experience using statistical software including MatLab, JMP, and R.

Ability to create and follow electrical diagrams.

Experience soldering electrical components.
