Job Description

Ground Combat Systems Operations Team Lead - perform day-to-day management of overall program management operations of a PEO Ground Combat Systems Program Manager 

Essential Job Functions:

The Operations Officer Team Lead shall act as the single point of contact for communicating with the COR and the Operations Director (or designated government representative) for the requirements.

The Candidate shall establish and manage contractor performance, and establish coverage plans for scheduled and unscheduled absences of other contractor employees under this task order to ensure required tasks are accomplished on time.

The  Candidate shall perform day-to-day management of overall contract operations under this task order.

The Candidate shall have a DoD SECRET clearance to review and analyze documents that may include classified (secret or below) content

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Minimum education requirement is a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Management, Logistics, Quality, Production, or other related technical field.

Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.

A minimum of 10 years of experience in the last 15 years coordinating and collaborating the management of complex DoD engineering or technical programs with a background in planning, organizing, performing, supervising, tracking, and reporting on Major Defense Acquisition Programs (MDAPs) and experience working on military acquisition programs (preferably ground combat vehicle systems experience). Acceptable experience is that which reflects a substantial regular and recurring role in all the required areas (planning, organizing, performing, supervising, tracking, and reporting).                                                                 

Desired Skills:

Experience shall include day-to-day management of overall product operations and managing teams to ensure required tasks are accomplished on time; developing and refining concepts of operations and operational plans that make optimum use of existing and planned systems and resources; simultaneously managing multiple projects; and managing calendars and schedules.
