Job Description

Candidate will be a Systems Engineer supporting the EOIR team.

Essential Job functions:

Design and track requirements for the Navy's Electro-Optical InfraRed pods.

Work with FTE's and Analysts to prepare complete and correct Test plans for acquisition/development programs for these pods.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Engineering based Bachelor's degree with 12 plus years’ experience with the Navy's development/test programs.

Must already possess a security clearance through Secret.

Experience with all levels of EOIR sensor program testing across multiple platforms and multiple aircraft Operational Flight Programs.

Specific experience includes Mil-STD-1553/1760, Airworthiness and Cybersafe Office (ACO) flight clearance processes and aircraft/stores compatibility. 

Candidate must be familiar with Project Test Plan policy for Testing Air Vehicles, Air Vehicle Weapons, and Air Vehicle Installed Systems (NAVAIRINST 3960.4). 

Candidate must be able to produce and review test reports in accordance with NAVAIRINST 3905.1, Test Reporting Policy for Air Vehicles, Air Vehicle Weapons, and Air Vehicle Installed Systems. 

Candidate must be able to interpret and produce engineering drawings for electromechanical systems and reverse engineer mechanical components and assemblies.
