Job Description

Provide Laboratory Technician support to the Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC) Ground Vehicle Systems Center (GVSC) Software Engineering team for their various ground vehicle System Integration Laboratory (SIL) projects

Essential Job Functions:

Integrate, maintain, and diagnosis problems with electronic components, equipment, and cables used in the GVSC SIL.

Start up and shutdown GVSC SIL systems on a daily basis, as well as maintain configuration logs of SIL equipment.

Support GVSC SIL engineers with integration, validation, and verification of SIL equipment and cables.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

High school diploma/GED and minimum of seven (7) years of experience as an Electrical Technician.

Ability to read wiring diagrams and cable drawings.

Self-starter with the ability to work without direct supervision.

Strong customer service skills.

Travel as required.

Desired Skills:

Working knowledge of C4ISR, Vetronics and related software on DoD ground combat vehicles.

Experience with DoD ground combat vehicles, tactical wheeled vehicles, and/or DoD C4ISR systems.

Experience with U.S. DoD communications equipment.
