Job Description

In this position you will provide full-spectrum PROCUREMENT SUPPORT to various USAF acquisition programs within the Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance and Special Operations Forces (ISR/SOF) Directorate, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, Ohio.

Essential Job Functions:

Provide administrative assistance to the Contracting Officer (CO) with the following tasks:

  • Prepare contracts and modifications

  • Distribute contract documentation

  • Provide database support and computer applications

  • Support contract closeout

  • Collect data for audit and/or report requests

  • Coordinate with other Government agencies

  • Coordinate with Defense Financial Accounting System (DFAS)

  • Create, retrieve and request contracting reports

  • Produce copies of acquisition documentation

  • Prepare source selection material

  • Track contract milestones

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

A High School Diploma or GED plus 13 years of relevant experience, an Associates Degree plus 7 years of experience or a Bachelors Degree plus 5 years of experience is required.

Requires a DoD Secret clearance on the first day of employment.

Applicant selected will be subject to a U.S. Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Possess a functional familiarity with software programs/databases to include, but not limited to:

  • Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer

  • Federal Procurement Data System-Next Generation (FPDS-NG)

  • Electronic Document Access (EDA)

  • Contracting Writing System (ConWrite)

  • AF Data Services

Possess the ability to learn to use other commercial or specialized computer applications

Desired Skills:

Familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), DoD FAR Supplement (DFARS), Air Force FAR Supplements (AFFARS), Mandatory Procedures (MP), Informational Guidance (IG), as well as other applicable documents and regulations, systems, and guides, as required.
