Job Description

Apply a variety of analytical techniques to formulate and solve problems; plan for future technologies; conduct research and development; and define requirements for systems. Support the Helicopter Program Office (AFLCMC/WIH). One of six centers under Air Force Materiel Command, the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center is the single center responsible for total life cycle management of Air Force weapon systems.  (Positions are contingent upon contract award)

Essential Job Functions:

Maintain calendars, resolving schedule conflicts and disseminating changes.

Receive incoming phone calls, routing and documenting calls.

Maintaining documentation that tracks individuals’ time away from the job. 

Assist in the day-to-day management of Government Furnished Property (GFP).

Identify GFP concerns, risks, and issues, and providing recommended courses of action.

Prepare for and participate in program reviews, meetings and/or working groups. Assist in gathering and compiling information to prepare briefing charts, support briefings/working group meetings, and assist in finalizing meeting minutes and tracking action item resolution.

Provide a range of acquisition support activities in manpower and personnel management.

Provide recommendations for completing manpower and personnel documentation.

Assist in the formulation of recommendations on matters regarding manpower data requirements and reporting using database and other systems.

Assist with the planning and drafting of the Monthly Acquisition Report (MAR).

Assist with the coordination of briefings, papers, and inputs about the systems.

Assist with consolidating information for, generating charts, and facilitating staff meetings.

Assist in creating and maintaining a SharePoint sites.

Assist in organizing and inputting data into the sites.

Make recommendations about how to better utilize the SharePoint sites.

Assist in creating and maintaining program schedules utilizing a project management tool (e.g. MS Project, Primavera), to include a critical path. Identify program slips and the effect a slip has on the rest of the schedule.

Review, edit, and explain the schedules and summarize the differences and effects the various schedules have upon each other and the different timelines.

Assess and analyze schedules and make recommendations regarding the realism of the schedule and any anomalies/conflicts across various schedules.

Accomplish tasks through the use of software programs/ databases including but not limited to: Contracting Writing System (ConWrite), FedBizOpps, Electronic Document Access (EDA), Federal Procurement Data System-Next Generation (FPDS-NG), and AF Data Services. May be required to learn to use other commercial or specialized computer applications.

Comply with the FAR, DoD FAR Supplement (DFARS), Air Force FAR Supplements (AFFARS), Mandatory Procedures (MP), Informational Guidance (IG), as well as other applicable documents and regulations, systems, and guides, as required.

Assist with providing a wide range of security management, analytical, technical and support services for programs managed by AFLCMC/WI and AFLCMC/WIH.

Provide technical security services relative to the development, acquisition, and sustainment of aeronautical weapon systems, subsystems, and associated support systems.

Assist with program protection, technology control, protection of classified and FOUO information, and other information requiring protection ensuring compliance with related DoD and AF instructions (e.g., DoD 5220.22-M, NISPOM).

Apply expert rotary wing aircrew experience, knowledge, and mastery of  principles, concepts, standards, and methods, Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTP) to assist with ensuring assigned projects remain consistent with program objectives, costs, schedules, performance criteria, and existing policies.

Create, develop and implement System Training Plans and administrative processes.

Interpret and implement training requirements including ATDs, MTDs, courseware/interactive multimedia instruction, and Type One training.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

High School/GED and 7 years of experience to a Bachelors and 10 years of experience.

Secret Clearance.
