Job Description

General Clerk will support NAVAIR's Airborne Threat Simulation Organization (ATSO) in a proactive work environment.

Essential Job Functions:

Review inventory lists and noting deficiencies

Update records in a computer system (data entry)

Stage and sort products for loading

Sort and place parts in racks or other designated areas

Package finished products for shipping/storage (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling

Mark items, using identification tag, stamp, or electronic marking tool or other labeling equipment

Prepare items for mailing/shipping

Report weekly status/ list of accomplishments

Filing requisitions or requests for materials

Assembling product containers and crates using hand tools and pre-cut lumber

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. citizenship is required

Must have a high school diploma plus 3 years of relevant experience

Must already have an interim or active security clearance

Must be able to occasionally lift/move items up to 50 lbs

Experience in office and shipping/receiving/clerical tasks

Be able to work independently

Desired Skills:

Experience with MS Office Suite of tools

Strong verbal and written communication skills
