Job Description

DCS is looking for an experienced logistician in the Aberdeen, MD area to support fielding of a new Army capability.

Essential Job Functions:

The candidate will support all aspects of fielding the systems. OCONUS travel required.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Bachelor's degree with at least 8 years of experience.

Must have an active Secret clearance.

Strong familiarity with military force structure and logistics functions and operations.

Progressive experience in the DOD 5000 acquisition process, supporting the budgetary aspects of program management, scheduling, trade-off analysis, lifecycle costing, risk management, and supportability.

Ability to implement DoD, Army, PEO, and PM acquisition policy and procedures to support the program's requirement to field fully-supportable systems/equipment, resulting in meeting operational requirements for the soldier in the field.

Proven ability to develop and perform complicated and dynamic logistics management operations that involve planning, coordinating, shipping, receiving, inventory management, sparing, repair, warranty actions, and reporting requirements. Must include experience performing these functions between CONUS and OCONUS (knowledge of international shipping practices and regulations).

Coordination with LRC personnel for support for new PNT products.

Coordination with product OEMs for field support, repair, sustainment, and warranty services.

Experience setting up fielding sites and the execution of fielding events, including site surveys, displace equipment disposition instruction development, coordinating New Materiel In Briefs (NMIB) and supporting the development and conduct of New Equipment Training (NET).
