Job Description

Provides technical support, conducts data analysis and applies knowledge of engineering technology under the direction of engineering staff. Types of tasks include test and evaluation, test support, logistics, sustainment, operations analyses, technical studies, and various analyses and support activities. Perform laboratory testing and flight testing in support of EW suite operational upgrades and Mission Data (MD) development. Support in programming, operations, and maintenance of the Combat Electromagnetic Environment SIMulator (CEESIM) systems used for aircraft EW systems MD optimization.

Essential Job Functions

Plan tests (as far as maintenance support required), test execution, (programming/operations of the threat simulator and EW systems and ground testing of installed EW systems), and data reduction and analysis

Participate in working groups, technical reviews, attend program meetings and make recommendations on technical and functional process matters and decisions

Prepare and present technical status briefings, documenting progress, accomplishments, and problem areas affecting defined task areas

Work with the Electronic Warfare Integrated Reprogramming Database (EWIRDB) in developing threat emitters from EWIR - program the CEESIM systems with those threats

Generate and test EW systems' MD files

Required Skills

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

High School Diploma/GED plus 12 years of experience and or an Associate’s degree in a technical area plus 10 years of experience.

Active Secret clearance.

Needs to be fluent in 4GRF CEESIM programming as well as general lab upkeep and equipment maintenance procedures.

Computer programming, Electrical technician skills, EW systems knowledge and EW Mission Data development experience.
