Job Description

DCS is looking for a strategic planner to develop briefings, strategies and other analysis for Army Project Manager located at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD.  Must have a thorough understanding of and experience with Army acquisition policy and procedures.

Essential Job Functions:

Work alongside Army Project Manager (PM) Leadership to provide strategic planning coordination and support program alignment within Army priorities

Monitor policy and documentation; produce technology white papers and reference cards

Provide analyses of investments, strategies and program alignment

Create/maintain reports that are heavily aligned to identify technologies that can successfully meet program requirements

Review/research testimonies, defense news outlets, and DoD published documents to determine applicability to ongoing and future PM areas of interest

Monitor and analyze defense budget materials and legislation to include the National Defense Authorization Act, Appropriations, and Authorization (NDAA) Conference Reports and provides input to PM leadership regarding applicability to the organization, programs and requirements

Create PowerPoint briefings to present complex program data to senior Army leadership

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Bachelors degree and 12 years of experience.

Active Secret (or higher) security clearance

Strong verbal and written communication

Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint

Experience in managing Army acquisition programs

Expertise in DoD Acquisition, DoD Budget, Army Program of Records
