Job Description

In this role you will provide Industrial Production Engineering Support to the GLOBAL HAWK PROGRAM OFFICE within the US Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Wright-Patterson AFB ,OH.

Essential Job Functions:

Assist the Government to translate operational and system requirements into design and fabrication objectives; integrate factory floor data to improve the design process; determine suitability (stability and capability) of existing and proposed manufacturing processes for application to complex emerging product designs and variation reduction in manufacturing and assembly operations. Assist in the line audits and assist DCMA on an as required basis.

The applicant shall be capable of using eSAMM, and review, analyze, and communicate technical risks and issues with respect to the prime contractor submitted CCPs, ECPs, and change orders.

The applicant shall provide general engineering support to the Global Hawk system development, production, deployment and support planning, coordination, and execution efforts, and support timely resolution of technical queries and engineering problems.

The applicant shall support and participate in PMRs, FMS case reviews, technical interchange meetings, design reviews, test readiness reviews, configuration review boards, computer resources working groups, interoperability working groups, material improvement process review boards, interface control working groups,

Technical working groups, configuration audits, product acceptance reviews, reliability and maintainability working groups, interoperability working groups, DMS working groups, crew systems working groups, and other meetings as directed by the Government.

The applicant shall support internal Global Hawk acquisition processes including among other tasks configuration boards, program management reviews, airworthiness certification, technical interchange meetings, deficiency reporting, and configuration audits as directed by the Government to support program execution.

The applicant shall plan and prepare contract documents and support the Government in weapon system contract related to new capabilities and air vehicle interfaces on ISR and SOF systems.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Must have a Bachelor's degree in ABET Engineering and 12 years of experience. 

Must have a DoD Secret clearance.
