Job Description

Configuration and Data Management, Unmanned Systems (UxS) group

Essential Job Functions:

Configuration Identification: Identify Configuration Items (CI), manage and control change documentation to the CIs, Software Anomaly Reports (SARs), Software Trouble Reports (STRs), and Document Change Reviews (DCRs) and maintain baseline data.

Maintain controlled documentation such as Engineering Management Plans, Requirements Documents, Design Documents, Formal Review Presentations, Test Procedures and Test reports.

Maintain all software and hardware anomaly reports, verify records are complete, produce and distribute reports as needed.

Collect, log and manage reviews for various Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL).

Co-chair change review boards with engineering product leads.

Record, track, and publish action items and meeting minutes for required meetings and events.

Establish, coordinate and collect metrics from formal inspections on code, technical drawings and documentation.

Configuration Status Accounting (CSA) provide detailed reporting of configuration items on an ongoing.

Data Management: Prepare items for shipment and track status of delivered items.

Assist in Technical writing duties including template creation, implementing edits on assigned documentation and graphics, including grammar, spelling, punctuation, syntax, format, etc.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

High school diploma/GED plus 10 years of relevant experience, or Associate's-level (AA/AS/Technical school) plus 4 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor degree with 2 years of relevant experience.

Must be able to be granted a security clearance and maintain one for the duration of employment.

Self-motivated, comfortable working independently or in a group.

Detail oriented and must be able to work multiple assignments simultaneously.

Expertise with Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, Power Point, Project and Access)

Desired Skills:

Previous experience in Software Development environment

Prior experience with Share Point and Atlassian products 

Familiar with CMMi best practices
