Job Description

In this position you will provide full-spectrum Acquisition Specialist Program Management Support to the US Air Force B-2 Systems acquisition programs within the Bombers Directorate, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, Ohio.

Essential Job Functions:

The applicant shall exhibit excellent time management and organizational skills and possess the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to gain cooperation from others through tact, courtesy, and diplomacy and have the ability to maintain good working relationships.

The applicant shall interact, coordinate, and communicate with AFLCMC organizations, other functional, and two and three-letter organizations, as required, including base facility, personnel, security, computer support, and building managers, as well as any external agencies required to facilitate uninterrupted AFLCMC day-to-day operations.

The applicant shall support, plan, coordinate, facilitate and execute organizational (executive, readiness, requirements, staff, technical and working groups) meetings to include scheduling conference and meeting rooms and room set-up ensuring sufficient seating and name placards are in place if required.

The applicant shall develop and implement a program management file plan.

The applicant shall manage SharePoint sites to assist with the management and execution of USG-lead activities and initiatives to communicate mission and accomplishments to USG customers and stakeholders. 

The applicant shall revise or edit hand-drawn diagrams or raw drafts and convert them to digital form through the Visio and other applications. 

The applicant shall establish and manage a standard process and support the assigned organization with all in-and out-processing actions of personnel as they enter, move within, or exit assigned organization, to include initiating and updating in and out-processing checklists and associated forms.

The applicant shall support the planning, creating, developing, formulation, editing, coordinating, updating, and publishing finished organizational documentation, including to, pyramid alert and recall and shelter-in-place rosters, action items, agendas, awards, briefings, charts, correspondence, databases, graphics, meeting minutes, organizational charts, Officer Performance Reports (OPRs) and Enlisted Performance Reports (EPRs), plans, presentations, reports, spreadsheets, and other specialized products in media and format requested.

The applicant shall provide support for all aspects of travel management to include the coordination and arrangement of travel plans for assigned organization senior leadership in the Defense Travel System (DTS) to include interfacing with both the Lead Defense Travel Administrator (DTA) and site DTS help desk on all organizational DTS issues.

The applicant shall support internal and external briefings and reports by providing expert knowledge and capability in the use of personal computers and operating systems to produce visual aids (slides, briefing charts, and other graphics) using appropriate software applications, file and retrieve graphics materials to facilitate research and expedite creation of briefings and reports, compile and prepare briefings and reports in hard copy for special and
recurring reports, and provide assistance during briefings upon request.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree plus 15 years of relevant experience is required.

Requires a Top Secret security clearance (adjudicated within the past 5 years) on the first day of employment. 

Applicant selected will be subject to a U.S. Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Post-secondary education may be substituted for work experience requirements.

A minimum of 5 years managing programs in a DoD acquisition environment.
