Computer Software and Aircraft Avionics Engineer
Salary Range: $79,616 - $135,570
Seasoned Mid-Level Software Engineer to support the government in overseeing and ensuring the integrity, performance, and compliance of hardware and software avionics systems developed by contractors for military or defense applications.
Essential Job Functions:
Acquisition support for Systems Engineering Technical Reviews (SETR).
Evaluating the designs, implementations, integrations, and tests of aircraft avionics systems.
Analysis & troubleshooting of PTRs on test bench residing in CSIL.
Support test planning, procedures and reports.
Reviewing and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
Determine and analyze systems, requirements, and functional allocations.
Ensure current and accurate documentation for engineering baselines including requirements traceability/allocation.
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
BS degree in Computer or Software Engineering plus a minimum of 6 years of experience in a related Engineering/Science Field is required.
Active Secret Security Clearance.
Ability to coordinate with platform engineers to integrate Products into platforms.
Desired Skills:
3 years working with NAVAIR avionics systems.
