Operation C2 Fielder, Principal

DCS has an exciting opportunity for a Principal Operational C2 Fielder within our AFLCMC/HBG group. The C2ISR Division is responsible for a diverse portfolio that provides 'cradle-to grave' support for the U-2 aircraft, E-8C Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System (JSTARS) aircraft, Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS), the Integrated Broadcast Service (IBS) system and other C2ISR programs as they transition to sustainment. The C2ISR Division provides worldwide life cycle support across the spectrum of the C2ISR capabilities based enterprise, including supply, distribution, materiel management, acquisition, system engineering and maintenance, financial planning and budgeting, security, flight test, and contracting functions. The Global Network Systems (GNS) Branch (AFLCMC/ HBGW), located at Hanscom AFB, MA, is one of the numerous branches within the C2ISR Division and reports directly to the C2ISR/HBG Senior Materiel Leader. EPASS support is required to execute the major GNS programs in support of the C2ISR Division, to include AF DCGS Network Infrastructure Transformation (NIT), Extended Tether Program (ETP), and Global Command and Control System – Air Force Infrastructure (GCCS-AF (I)).

As the Operational C2 Fielder, you will provide support to assist with fielder and system administrator support including providing training to system administrators for Air C2 applications.

This is a full-time role at Hanscom AFB, MA.

Essential Job Functions:

Duties include, but not limited to: 

Field/build Air C2 application systems.

• Air C2 Apps (Theater Battle Management Core Systems Force Level, Air and Space Operations Center, C2AOS-C2IS, GCCS-Air Force, and UC2).

Frequent travel to multiple worldwide locations.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

A High School Diploma plus 30 years of directly related experience, 20 years of which must be in the DoD OR Bachelor's Degree plus 25 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 15 years of which must be in the DoD.

Must have and be able to maintain a Secret level clearance.

Knowledgeable of Air C2 applications.

Frequent travel to multiple worldwide locations.

Desired Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus 25 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 15 years of which must be in the DoD OR, Master’s or Doctorate Degree in a related field and at least 20 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 12 years of which must be in the DoD.
