Acquisition Management Specialist
Salary Range: $85,373 - $175,000
DCS is looking for an Acquisition specialist to support a new program in preparation for two Acquisition Shaping panels in FY25.
Essential Job Functions:
Provide recommendations to the Product Management team concerning the acquisition planning to include cost, schedule, and performance of highly complex, high monetary value, long term acquisitions.
Apply procurement principles and technical or program requirements to ensure the acquisition and milestone documentation are reflected and are integrated into the resulting contracting and procurement actions.
Assist in the development of acquisition strategies that align with program goals and regulatory requirements.
Assist in the development of acquisition documents such as the Simplified Acquisition Management Plan, Life Cycle Sustainment Plan, Program Office Estimate, Acquisition Decision memorandums, Test and evaluation plans, etc.
Coordinate and assist in the ramp-up of the program as new capabilities are transitioned and developed, ensuring smooth integration and operational readiness.
Support the preparation and development of briefings and presentations for internal and external stakeholders that effectively communicate the status, challenges, and successes of the program.
Develop and brief clear, concise, and tailored briefings for various audiences.
Travel Requirement: up to 25%
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Bachelors and 12 years of experience.
TS/SCI clearance is required.
Must have experience supporting an Army ACAT level program.
