Organizational Workforce Specialist
The Organizational Workforce Specialist will support the company’s organizational development, employee engagement efforts, and learning and development initiatives. Initially focused on administrative tasks, the specialist will be responsible for creating the organization chart, managing employee engagement calendars and activities, updating SharePoint pages, and collaborating with the Learning and Development team. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who is passionate about employee engagement and workforce analytics.
Essential Job Functions:
Organizational Chart Management:
Create and update the company’s organizational chart, ensuring accuracy and alignment with current staffing such as new hires, promotions, transfers, and terminations.
Collaborate with HR and department heads to ensure the organization chart is aligned with workforce planning and staffing levels.
Employee Engagement:
Coordinate employee engagement calendars, scheduling events and activities to foster team cohesion and participation.
Partner with site managers to promote employee engagement programs and activities.
Track and analyze employee participation and feedback to improve engagement strategies.
SharePoint Administration:
Regularly update and maintain the Corporate Development SharePoint site with new content, resources, and event information.
Serve as the primary point of contact for updating workforce-related SharePoint pages, ensuring information is current and easily accessible for employees.
Collaborate with the IT department and other stakeholders to improve the structure and usability of SharePoint pages.
Learning and Development Support:
Provide organizational support to the Learning and Development team, including maintaining the organization structure in the LMS.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work alongside functional managers to ensure alignment of workforce programs with Corporate Development strategic goals.
Provide administrative support across departments, particularly during employee engagement events and workforce development initiatives.
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
High School Diploma and 3 years of experience and or pursuing Bachelor’s Degree.
1-2 years of administrative experience, preferably in HR, employee engagement, or related areas.
Familiarity with managing SharePoint pages and updating content.
Excellent organizational skills with a solid attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience with event planning software or tools.
