Job Description

DCS Corp has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Enterprise Architect providing support to HBB/Kessel Run.

The candidate will have demonstrated experience with successfully managing the development, sustainment, and enhancement of a Multi-Tenant Architecture with a Single Database. The candidate will have extensive experience working in a Microservices environment with an emphasis on system reliability and be able to recommend managerial decisions based on operational conditions, including system errors and delays. The candidate will be able to apply detailed expertise of Cloud Distributed System and Application processes. The candidate shall recommend decisions and courses of actions based on a detailed understanding of the Department of Defense’s Zero Trust strategy, applicable guidance, and relevant maturity models. The candidate shall have demonstrated expertise interacting with critical program stakeholders and partners, including the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), to ensure application operational availability, resilience, and security.

The candidate shall have demonstrated expertise with integrating software tools using RestfulAPI connection or message broker, understand and articulate the limitations and benefits of different approaches, and make recommendations to program leadership. This position requires expertise that is not available within the military or civilian experience base.

This will support the Command-and-Control Incident Management Emergency Response Application (C2IMERA) Program Office.

Essential Job Functions:

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Coordinate data sharing and partnerships with external entities.
  • Oversee and make recommendations on integrating software tools.
  • Make recommendations pertaining to cloud distributed system and application processes.
  • Provide architectural insights that enable mission-enhancing data sharing.
  • Work with external partners and represent the program in key technical engagements.
  • Recommend courses of action to ensure operational availability, resilience, and security.
  • Contribute to product development by providing an enterprise lens to the product development process.
  • Make recommendations on applying advanced technical concepts, such enabling the application to function in a denied, degraded, intermittent, or limited (DDIL) bandwidth environment.
  • Actively participate in the product development process and agile development ceremonies.
  • Make recommendations on applying Zero Trust principles to enhance product outcomes.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

A High School Diploma plus 15 years of experience, 8 of which must be in the DoD or a Bachelors Degree with 5 years of experience in a DoD setting.

An adjudicated DoD Secret Security clearance on the First Day of employment.

Experience on DoD or Air Force acquisition programs desired.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Comfortable working in a dynamic team environment meeting end users’ requirement.

Comfortable working and collaborating with a prime contractor delivering all engineering and software development services.

Must be detail-oriented and have excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
