DCS Corp has an exciting opportunity for a Security Support Senior position providing support to the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center/PEO Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance / Special Operation Forces (ISR/SOF) Directorate (AFLCMC/WI). This position will support the AFLCMC/WIH Helicopter Division.

Essential Job Functions:

This position will serve as the technical expert for multiple specialized Information Protection (IP) and acquisition security programs supporting major DoD and classified/highly sensitive USAF defense acquisition and intelligence programs.   The Contractor will assist with providing a wide range of security management, analytical, technical and support services for programs managed by AFLCMC/WI Directorate, AFLCMC/WIH Division, and specific HH-60W and MH-139A programs.  The Contractor will administer physical, information, industrial, personnel, and Operations Security (OPSEC) programs as applied to assigned acquisition activities/systems.  The Contractor will provide guidance and assistance to integrated process teams in the areas of physical, information, industrial, personnel, operations, and apply experience in the acquisition’s security disciplines. 

The Security Support Specialist will provide technical security services relative to the development, acquisition, and sustainment of aeronautical weapon systems, subsystems, and associated support systems.

The Security Support Specialist will assist with program protection, planning to include the development of the Program Protection Plan (PPP) and its associated annexes to include the Security Classification Guide (SCG), the Operations Security (OPSEC) Plan, the Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) Plan the Technology Assessment/Control Plan (TA/CP), etc. In addition, they will assist with technology control, protection of classified and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), information formerly marked For Official Use Only (FOUO) information, and other information requiring protection ensuring compliance with related DoD and AF instructions (e.g., DoD 5220.22-M, National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual)

The Security Support Specialist will provide support to the directorate’s security operations.

The Security Support Specialist will assist by preparing, presenting, and coordinating security-related briefing materials

The Security Support Specialist will provide security-related technical assistance to the directorate for briefings, meetings, and conferences.

The Security Support Specialist will assist by recording and tracking security program action items, suspense items, and processes.

The Security Support Specialist will assist with ensuring compliance with the Security Education and Motivation Program for program-briefed personnel.

The Security Support Specialist will assist with providing classification management guidance to AFLCMC/WIH units for assigned programs.

The Security Support Specialist will assist with the development of security requirements into contractual commitments.

The Security Support Specialist will administratively assist with the coordination of DD Form 254, DoD Contract Security Classification Specification.

The Security Support Specialist will assist with electronic files management, records management, and file plan management. The Contractor will prepare security-related spreadsheets, briefings, figures, graphics, tables, forms, and documents. The Contractor will assist with preparation and maintenance of security program documentation and briefing materials.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

A Bachelor's degree plus 12 years of experience, Master’s Degree plus 10 years of experience, or High School Diploma plus 15 years of experience.

An adjudicated DoD Top Secret Security clearance with SCI eligibility on the First Day of employment.

Must have security support experience with weapon systems and subsystems.

Familiar with security policy/manuals and the appropriate DoD and Air Force directives, manuals and instructions.

Required certifications:

Level 1 Security Fundamentals Professional Certification granted by Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency’s Security Professional Education Development (SPED) Program is required for Senior- level positions within 12 months of employment. The individual must maintain this certification during the remainder of employment.
