Network Integration Analyst

DCS Corp Sterling Heights, MI (Onsite) Full-Time

Provide technical and organizational support to the Army PM Stryker Brigade Combat Team (SBCT) to coordinate and ensure alignment of efforts to integrate and field a wide variety of tactical communications network (C5ISR) systems.  This position is located at Ft. Lewis, WA.

Essential Job Functions:

Serve in a customer-facing role to assist the PM SBCT C5ISR/Network Integration lead at overseeing and managing efforts pertaining to the integration and fielding of a wide variety of C5ISR systems onto all platforms within the PM SBCT family of vehicles portfolio.

Serve as a subject matter expert for C5ISR systems and their application to the platforms within the PM SBCT family of vehicles.

Interface with other PM Offices and other PEOs in order to maintain an awareness of the status of current and future C5ISR technologies that will pertain to PM SBCT.

Ensure understanding of the PM SBCT customer needs and implement strategies to provide optimal support to the customer.

Serve as a direct liaison officer to SBCT operational units.

Determine, validate, and record Stryker C5ISR system requirements.  Solicit operational organizations and the Stryker user community for their input to C5ISR systems requirements.

Serve in an advise & assist role to higher headquarters, specifically pertaining to the operational use of C5ISR systems by the Stryker brigades.

Lead recurring meetings on behalf of the PM SBCT Network Integration team.

Participate in meetings within PM SBCT, PEO GCS and with outside organizations.  Take meeting notes and relay relevant information to stakeholders.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 5 years experience post receiving the Bachelors degree, with at least 5 years of experience as a uniformed military person serving in a role pertaining to the operation of C5ISR systems within an operational context (S6 or 25 Series MOS).

Experience working with GVSC, PEO CS&CSS, PEO C3T and/or related PM offices within the Army Materiel Command.

A familiarity with DoD acquisition organizational structure, culture and processes gained from military service or civilian/contractor employment in a DoD acquisition organization.

Understanding of the DoD acquisition process.

Working knowledge of C5ISR, Vetronics and related software on DoD ground combat vehicles.

Self-starter with the ability to work without direct supervision.

Ability to daily provide high quality support and customer service to the government customer in a high visibility position.

Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

Strong interpersonal abilities, including ability to tactfully negotiate resolution to competing programmatic demands and requirements.

Comfortable with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.

Work with user representatives and formal DoD requirements documents in order to determine the requirements for a system development or integration effort.

Ability to travel to various customer and contractor facilities and test centers (estimated approx 15% travel).

Desired Skills:

Electrical, computer, and/or systems engineering experience on DoD ground combat vehicles and/or DoD C4ISR systems.

Familiarity with DoD contracts and contract deliverables.

Experience with in-vehicle data networks.
