Test and Evaluation Engineering Support
The Air Force Program Executive Officer for Agile Combat Support (AFPEO/ACS) has the collective Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) mission responsibility to Acquire and Support War-Enabling Capabilities – Professionally and Affordably. In order to meet current and projected workload requirements in support of AFPEO/ACS, the Government must augment its organic (military and civil service) capabilities at Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) Agile Combat Support (AFLCMC/WN) with Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) support. This particular position is in support of the combat avionics program.
Essential Job Functions:
The Contractor shall provide test and evaluation technical support, systems analyst /subject matter technical support, and systems software test and evaluation support. The Contractor shall assist in the designing, planning, execution, analysis and reporting phases of test and evaluation programs to assess the performance of aeronautical systems, subsystems and equipment through the various acquisition phases and milestones. The Contractor shall assist in the preparation, maintenance, update and review of the full range of test and test-related documentation for adequacy, specification/performance requirement compliance, and conformity with mandatory guidance and provide recommendations as necessary for improvement.
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
A High School Diploma plus 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, 8 of which must be in the DoD, a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 5 of which must be in the DoD, or a Master’s or Doctorate Degree in a related field and 10 years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, 5 years of which must be in the DoD.
Secret clearance is required on day one.
