DCS has an outstanding opportunity for a Human Factors scientist to join our Human Systems Division team in Dayton, OH working at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.
In this role, you would combine your expertise in human factors psychology, automation, UX/UI, and cyber and information warfare operations.
Essential Job Functions:
Developing UI and automation requirements in joint all domain (air, space and cyber) scenarios.
Collaborate with a team of UX/UI designers to develop a GUI to assist in the evaluation of different cyber courses of action.
Facilitate data collection with relevant SME’s to collect data on GUI concepts.
Support knowledge acquisition activities focused on cognitive issues with cyberoperations and integration with pre-and post-kinetic effects.
Supporting DoD customer in a variety of projects involving human factors psychology.
Report writing, journal publications, and conference presentations.
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
At least an M.S. in Human Factors Psychology and at least 10 years of experience conducting research for DoD or military customers.
Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information: Top Secret level U.S. DoD security clearance (TS/SCI) on Day 1.
Ability to commute to Wright-Patterson AFB daily.
