B-52 Procurement Technician (Dayton OH)
Job Description: Provide acquisition support to the B-52 Program Office by preparing, verifying, and documenting contract awards, modifications, interagency agreements and various other complex procurement and contract administration functions
The position is located at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton Ohio
Essential Job Functions
Support preparation of contract documentation, contract distribution functions, correspondence, as well as database support and computer applications.
Perform tasks to include providing support to the customer for the development, award, management and measurement, including contract closeout.
Using appropriate contract writing system, perform closeout tasks and prepare contract file documentation.
Perform contract distribution functions for the entire organization.
Create, retrieve and request appropriate contracting reports, as required.
Provide assistance in the preparation of procurements for the review and approval of B-52 Division Contracting Officers.
Provide assistance in the preparation of contracts and modifications as well as solicitations and amendments to solicitations for approval and issuance by the B-52 Division Contracting Officers.
Provide assistance to the customer in the preparation of source selection material and subsequent reports.
Enter and implement Government-approved updates to contractual documentation in the contract writing system. T
Access, populate, and analyze information in contract writing system databases. Identify potential issues / concerns for Government consideration.
Provide support for audit and/or report requests made by the AFLCMC, AFMC, DCAA, DCMA, DFAS, or other Governmental agencies.
Assist B-52 Division Contracting Officers in tracking contract milestones.
Assist in coordinating with the DFAS or other paying activities to ensure timely payment of vouchers and obligation/de-obligation of funds.
Required Skills
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
A High School Diploma plus 20 years of experience, an Associate's degree plus 14 years, a Bachelor's degree plus 12 years or a Master's degree plus 10 years of experience is required.
Requires an active Secret security clearance.
Required to learn to use other commercial or specialized computer applications.
Accomplish tasks through the use of software programs/ databases including but not limited to: Conwrite, Contract Data System; SDW, FedBizOpps, EDA, Federal Procurement Data System-Next Generation, MOCAS, Contracting Business Intelligence Service Account, and AF Data Services.
Job Requirements:
