Interoperability Test Analyst
The Interoperability Test Analyst will provide analytical support in the design, development, integration, and continual enhancement of testing and integrating communications equipment on a variety of Army ground combat vehicles.
Essential Job Functions:
Identify, engineer, implement, and verify new designs and configuration of System Integration Benches, test racks, cables and harnesses, etc. to enhance usability and maintainability.
Provide electrical, mechanical and software support to Combat Vehicle system bench planning, design, development, and execution.
Work in a team environment with our Army customer and DCS Engineers and Technicians.
Coordinate training on past, current and future test procedures.
Work with government personnel to plan, coordinate and execute testing objectives and details to complete the customer mission.
Support, operate, maintain, and influence system bench and vehicle configurations and assets that will satisfy Army Integration Standards.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve problems encountered with systems equipment and/or configurations.
Grow Subject Matter Expertise on a variety of combat vehicle subsystems.
Travel as required to support customer and mission needs. Up to 50% travel is anticipated.
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience or Master's degree with 6 years of experience.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
Experience with Army Interoperability Certification Testing.
Familiar with Army Combat Vehicle systems.
Familiar with DoD C4ISR Systems such as: BFT, SINCGARS, WIN-T and/or familiar with Network Operations or Tactical Intranet.
Familiar with military communications equipment for Ground Combat Vehicles.
Ability to travel to various customer and contractor facilities and test centers (50% Travel).
Desired Skills:
Experience with US Army Ground Combat Vehicle System Electronics Hardware and Software. Experience with Simulation and Emulation.
Experience in Information Assurance, Computer Security, Risk Management Framework for Ground Combat/Military Systems.
The System Integration Engineer will provide systems engineering support for the design, development, fabrication, integration, testing, maintenance and continual enhancement for a variety of Army ground combat vehicle systems.
