Business Development Analyst

As a Business Development Analyst, you have the opportunity to learn business development skills, proposal development processes, and grow your administrative, analytical, and research expertise in a dynamic environment. A successful candidate will provide administrative support, analysis, planning and execution support to the company’s growth team.
Essential Job Functions:
Assist with developing and maintaining presentations, market/business plans, and marketing materials.
Coordinate externally with Government Contracting Offices and Program Offices to gather information about upcoming opportunities.
Maintain tracking spreadsheets for VP BD in support of conferences, memberships, sponsorships. Maintain tracking spreadsheets for PMO tracking all aspects of support required to execute and maintain PMO (partners, subs, opportunity lists). Perform downloads and save all artifacts in assigned/directed folders for artifact tracking/maintenance.
Monitor government procurement websites (sam.gov, GovWin, etc), industry publications, industry consortiums and other sources for relevant business leads, solicitations, and opportunities.
Analyze government legislation and budget information to assess business opportunities and develop strategies for market penetration.
Provide administrative support to the Business Development team, including scheduling meetings, responding to data calls, performing basic internet searches for upcoming opportunities.
Utilize PMO IDIQ websites to perform searches for information as assigned. Perform routine searches and formulate reports based on standard templates at assigned frequency.
Support cultivation and maintenance of relationships with existing partners and potential customers.
Support development and maintenance of Program Management Office (PMO) artifacts and processes. Gather data and information, working closely with PMO Director
Support coordination of travel requests, monthly reports, Weekly Quad Charts, monthly financial deliverables including continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills:
US Citizenship is required.
Ability to obtain a SECRET security clearance required.
At least 5 years experience performing administrative and analyst support functions required. Experience utilize Microsoft excel, Databases, PowerBI, Microsoft outlook.
Experience coordinating and scheduling highly visible, high priority meetings and conferences. Experience engaging with senior leadership.
Experience utilizing online databases, and manipulating data into PowerPoint for executive level presentations. Experience assimilating material from a variety of systems, tools and locations as a first draft.
Interest and ability to be resourceful and operate independently to complete tasking, as assigned with limited oversight.
Assist in developing and maintaining SharePoint based repositories.
Desired Skills:
Graphic creation and desktop publishing experience a plus.
Fluent in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Capable of learning Microsoft SharePoint for maintenance, support to BD websites and data management.
Strong skills using online research tools; ability to learn new tools.
Good analytical, research skills. Strong administrative and organizational skills; high attention to detail. Ability to carry out tasking independently while utilizing assigned resources.
