In this role you will provide Acquisition Logistics Support to the Helicopter Division within the US Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, Ohio. 

In this roll, you will assist in managing and organizing resources and personnel needed to manage the Helicopter Division Government Furnished Equipment program.

Essential Job Functions:

You will provide technical expertise, recommendations, and advisory assistance to the Government in the day-to-day management of Government Furnished Property (GFP).

You will provide advisory assistance and draft documentation support by identifying GFP concerns, risks, and issues, and providing recommended courses of action.

You will prepare for and participate in program reviews, meetings and/or working groups, as requested by the Government. You will assist in gathering and compiling information to prepare briefing charts, support briefings/working group meetings, and assist in finalizing meeting minutes and tracking action item resolution.

You will assist by preparing and coordinating correspondence and reports and by assisting in the day-to-day research required in support of GFP functions.

You will provide advisory assistance and draft documentation support in the development and implementation of Government-approved procedures to procure or requisition rotary wing GFP.

You will assist in monitoring and tracking GFP shipping and deliveries and in performing analyses to ensure program supportability.

You will provide advisory assistance and draft documentation support in the analysis of Contract Change Proposals (CCPs), Engineering Change Proposal (ECPs), and other weapon system Contractor proposals to determine the availability, applicability, and accuracy of rotary wing GFP requirements identified therein and in identifying potential impacts to current GFP requirements.

You will assist with providing rotary wing GFP support to program bed down activities at operational bases and weapon system contractor facilities.

You will provide advisory support to budget, track, and resolve rotary wing GFP issues to ensure adequate asset availability in support of development, test, and production programs to include, but not be limited to, development and production manufacturing operations, test and evaluations, validations, kit-proofing, test program set development, support equipment, modification and retrofit programs, and repairs.

You will provide advisory support for all rotary wing GFP activities required for contract / program close-out to include, but not be limited to, GFP asset disposition (i.e., sales and transfers), and providing recommendations for Government consideration regarding requirements for excess GFP for other usage.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Bachelor's degree plus 12 years of experience or a Master’s Degree plus 10 years’ experience, or High School diploma and 15 years of directly related experience is required, five years’ experience must be in the DoD.

Requires an active Secret security clearance.
