Job Description

Individual shall be open-minded, creative, and self-critical; shall be collaborative and communicative amongst other product managers and developers.

The individual shall have the autonomy to try out new processes, do what works, try new things, and stop doing things that don’t work; not a lot of constraints on the 'creative' process.

Essential Job Functions:

Follow a lean user’s experience (UX) process and design the applications User Interface in support of the integrated Government and Contractor Product Team, in a culture of continuous integration and continuous delivery.

Recommend product decisions through user research, customer development, and iterative feedback loops.

Individual shall be capable of performing the tasks relevant to the basic requirements in forming and working on Government/Contractor software coding teams.

Job Requirements

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Experience with agile and lean philosophies; possesses an Agile DevelEducation/Experience Requirements: Experience with agile and lean philosophies; possesses an Agile Development Certification as either a Scrum Master, Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or equal to. Additionally, holds a CUA/CXA or equal Certification.

Experience working independently with clients or stakeholders conducting interviews, observations and surveys to successfully create a user-story.

Experience designing full-service consumer and business applications.

Experience in research, visual design, graphic design, consulting, and/or development.

Experience with modern front-end technologies and frameworks (e.g. HAML/SASS, grid systems, responsive design).

Desired Skills:

Maintain a user-centered approach in design perspective and practice.

Lead products from discovery and framework through iterative development and delivery.
