Job Description

The Technical Writer/Publisher III serves as subject matter expert in the area of technical writing for all aspects of assigned programs for PM SSV.

Essential Job Functions:

Prepares technical manuals, articulation of specifications, doctrinal materials, detailed reports, training materials and support plans, logistic and fielding plans, graphic and training aids.

Guides, aids and manages others in the analysis, design, development, planning and execution of product services and processes.

Works on complex projects which require original thinking and new approaches.

Sets priorities and ensures that the work products for the group conform to company and customer standards.

Plans, conducts and manages assignments, reviews progress and evaluates results, works with other technical and administrative disciplines, performs top-level analysis/research and plans, assigns and manages personnel.

Plans, organizes, leads and carries out several projects or leads a major function or project, typically with responsibility for activities of a group of primary staff and support staff, or with responsibility for an important and complex area of research and investigation.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Bachelor’s Degree and ten years of relevant experience.

Must have a Secret clearance.

Equivalent of DAWIA Certification Level III for Life Cycle Logistics.
