Essential Job functions:
Candidate will coordinate and perform software development for the EOIR teams Laser Spot Tracker Trailer.
Update, upgrade, and modify as necessary a Laser Spot Scoring application and associated tools to run on a Windows 10 platform.
Development programming environment to be used for instrument control, automated test, and data acquisition.
Understanding and experience with hardware drivers, software libraries (DAQ & Imaging), GPS cards, DAQ and imaging cards interfacing with digital cameras.
Interface with all levels of the F/A-18 and E/A-18G IPT, PMA-265 and weapons PMA 201, 259, and 242 along with mission planning PMA-281, PMA-205 for training products as well as other external organizations that support NAVAIR: Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Northrup Grumman, FAAC, and Raytheon.
Exercise independent judgment and initiative to complete assigned tasks in accordance with NAVAIR, PMA-265 and the F/A-18 and EA-18G IPT defined processes and procedures.
Specific experience includes experience with ANSI C, LabWindows/CVI environment, and problem solving in a Windows-10 based multi-disciplined environment (i.e. Imaging, Data Acquisition, and Timing).
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Engineering based Bachelor's degree with 12 plus years of experience with the Navy development/test programs.
Must already possess a security clearance through Secret.
Experience with all levels of ANSI C and LabWindows/CVI environment.
Specific experience includes Windows 10 and able to integrate hardware and software tasks.
Candidate must be familiar with Laser Probe Rm-3700 radiometers and have Range Test experience.
Candidate must be able to adept at problem solving in a multi-disciplined environment (i.e. Imaging, Data Acquisition, and Timing).
