Job Description

Works as a key member of a combined test force (CTF) accomplishing Developmental Test (DT) and Development/ Operational Test (DT/OT) preparation, planning, and conduct to support a new AFTC program.

Essential Job Functions:

Acts as the focal point within the CTF for planning all modeling and simulation capabilities and resolving related issues. Identifies and solves problems, plans for future technologies, and conducts related research and development.

Assesses concepts, designs, and vendor development efforts.

Analyzes risks; formulates, improves, and utilizes methods and tools, including modeling and simulation to mitigate those risks.

Defines requirements and verifies systems.

Applies a variety of analytical techniques to assess weapon system attributes. Responsibilities include implementing and using analytical and simulation tools, gathering and analyzing data and documentation needed to support the program and the CTF, helping the program with system and sub-system assessment and test formulation, simulation, Verification, Validation and Accreditation (VV&A), provisioning the CTF with simulators, simulations, appropriate hardware, software and databases, operating simulations, identifying and producing data analysis products, and identifying new CTF requirements.

Participates as required in any and all CTF activities.

Provides discipline expertise.

Implements, utilizes, and advances M&S capabilities including system and discipline simulations, mission-level constructive simulations, pilot-in-the-loop mission rehearsal simulators, and logistics supportability simulations as necessary.

Must be able to cooperatively and independently work with and coordinate among government, military and civilian engineers and managers, as well as contractor engineers and project/management personnel.

Job Requirements

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Bachelor's and 12 years of experience.

Top Secret security clearance.

Desired Skills:

Experience with Verification, Validation and Accreditation issues a plus.

Experience establishing, using, or modifying discipline, system, or mission level simulations a plus.

Experience of working within a Combined Test Force a plus.
