Job Description

Essential Job Functions:

Evaluate and verify that F/A-18 Software Development products and software activities adhere to established standards and processes as identified in the Process Manual, Software Quality Assurance Plan (SQAP), Software Configuration Management Plan (SCMP), and other project plans.

Verify integrity of software build processes and content for delivered products.

Report non-compliance issues to the Software Development Team Lead (or their designee).

Review audit results for trends and provide process improvement recommendations for resolution.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Bachelor’s Degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience.

Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance for duration of the assignment.

Experience in Software Quality Assurance. 

Familiar with the software development lifecycle.

Must perform software product and process evaluations using standards and checklists to verify that requirements, software deliverables, phase activities, phase milestones, and software releases are compliant with existing processes i.e. Products are being developed following the defined processes and activities are being executed according to the defined process.

Candidate must have the ability to work independently within a team environment.

Should be familiar with CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration) and have knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.

Desired Skills:

Experience with structured software development teams. Knowledge of DOD-STD 2167A, Agile SCRUM and DO-178B.
