Job Description

Infoscitex, a DCS company, is seeking a Multi-Domain Sensor Exploitation Engineer to join our research team supporting our Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) clients in developing and maturing ISR, ATR, and combat identification technology for demonstration and transition to operational use.

Essential Job Functions:

In this role, you could expect to develop new or analyze existing sensor exploitation algorithms and systems to evaluate and optimize performance. You would also adapt proven algorithms and systems across the air, space and cyber domains to new sensor data types and formats, and integrate and correlate disparate observational source data across multiple sources. Further, you would develop software tools for algorithm testing and evaluation.

This is an opportunity to work with the most cutting edge technology in the field. Some intermittent short term travel may be required.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

At least a MS in Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline; with at least 6 years of related experience. (We have multiple levels associated with this opportunity. Candidates with advanced degrees or varying experience may be considered for alternative classification.)

Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information: eligible to attain TS/SCI.

Thorough understanding of RF sensor systems architecture, hardware and signal processing (airborne or space borne).

Expertise in advanced radar systems exploitation algorithms (e.g. detection, clutter processing, tracking, sensor cueing, target recognition).

Ability to formulate and code algorithms and tools (C++/Python/Matlab/Windows/Linux), conduct tests, and analyze algorithms for advanced signal exploitation.

Ability to travel, if needed.

Desired Skills:

While not specific requirements, we feel an ideal candidate would also bring experience in pattern recognition, computer vision, machine learning, and RF signature simulation; knowledge of real time sensor exploitation applications, and sensor modeling; as well as experience with radar simulation tools (e.g. Xpatch); and knowledge of active and passive electro-optical image and full motion video systems and exploitation.
