Job Description

Oversee activities that include purchasing, transportation, inventory, and warehousing.

Essential Job Functions:

Direct the allocation of materials, supplies, and finished products.

Develop business relationships with suppliers and customers.

Work to understand customers’ needs and how to meet them.

Design strategies to minimize the cost or time required to move goods.

Review the success of logistical functions and identify areas for improvement
Propose improvements to management and customers.

Job Requirements

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Bachelor's Degree.

Active Secret Security Clearance.

12 years of experience in defense life-cycle (acquisition) logistics, which includes supply chain management, support equipment, manpower, training, facilities, packaging, handling, and shipping and transportation.

3 years of experience as a team leader or supervisor.
