Job Description

Infoscitex, a DCS company, is seeking a Scientist to assist our team at Wright Patterson Air Force Base.

As this Scientist, you would be performing research in the area of brain machine interfaces and neuromodulation.


Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

At least a BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline; and at least 2 years of related experience. (We have multiple levels associated with this opportunity. Candidates with advanced degrees or varying experience may be considered for alternative classification.)

Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information: eligible to attain a Secret level U.S. DoD security clearance.

Strong MATLAB programming skills.

Ability to create programs with graphic user interfaces (GUI), real-time data processing, and customizable data analysis packages.

Experience working with large datasets.

Ability and desire to learn novel programming languages.

Experience working with data acquisition systems (e.g. National Instruments).

Basic signal processing skills.

Ability to assist with data collection for multiple studies.

Capability to work evenings 2 times per week as needed.

An ideal candidate may bring the following attributes, although these are not firm requirements for consideration:

MS in a STEM discipline.

Experience with Brain Machine Interfaces.

Experience conducting research.

Experience collecting EEG/fNIRS and analyzing data.

Experience incorporating sensors into existing systems.

Machine Learning experience.
