Job Description

DCS is seeking a Quality Assurance Analysts to support complex Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS). 

Essential Job Functions:

The candidate plans and implements Quality Assurance (QA) efforts for a CMMI Maturity Level 3 Organization that supports complex software systems for unmanned aircraft.

Regularly interfaces with DCS Program Management, Systems Engineering, and Software Development and Test Team personnel.  Requires mid to senior level knowledge and experience with Software Quality Assurance processes.

Requires knowledge and experience with Agile Scrum Software Development methodologies and Software Testing processes. 

Requires some knowledge of Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) and Data Item Description (DID) requirements.

Conducts Process and Work Product Quality Assurance Audits (PPQA).

Able and willing to support test events.

Provides advice and recommendations to the organization in areas of expertise.

Participates in various Milestone and Status meetings and other project events as required.

Knowledge and experience with development and implementation of Quality Assurance Plans and Process and with conducting Quality Assurance Process and Work Product audits.

Collect and analyze customer, supplier and government data.

Knowledge and experience with development and implementation of Quality Assurance Plans and Process and with conducting Quality Assurance Process and Work Product audits.

Knowledge and experience with contract CDRL and DID requirements.

Perform risk assessments and analyses, relying on relevant customer, supplier performance, and Government data, and assigns risk ratings to quality systems and key processes.

Participate in Program/Project team meetings as required. Brief status of CM/DM activities as required.

Requires knowledge and experience with Agile Scrum development methodologies.

Knowledge and experience with contract CDRL and DID requirements.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Must have an active DoD SECRET Security Clearance.

A Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years of experience or a Master's Degree plus 6 years is required.

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Attention to detail, focus oriented.

Experience using JIRA Software

Desired Skills:

Experience with CMMI Institute Maturity Level 3 Processes.

Experience using Agile or SAFe software development methodologies.
