Job Description

Essential Job Functions:

Drive cultural change within PM PNT by establishing an appropriate technology environment that supports continuous improvement, simplifies data interaction, streamlines workflow and process automation and improves responsiveness to change using agile principles.

In support of PNT objectives, work with product offices to define technology and information requirements, resources and tools necessary to improve data sharing, storage and workflow across the PM.

Satisfy user requirements by developing plans and recommendations that optimize the use of information management tools and establish processes that improve information management and flow.

Execute the implementation and administration of information management tools across the PM by customizing and integrating tools according to approved requirements.

This may include, but is not limited to:

Optimizing the use of new and existing collaboration/information tools, such as SharePoint, MS Project, TMT, PMRT or any other tools approved to meet user needs and improve information management.

Supporting process automation by setting guidelines for SharePoint structures for automated feed of data through multiple collaboration/information tools.

Supporting the development of standardized and custom forms, applications, and workflows using SharePoint designer.

Creating and managing sites, content types, site columns, templates, pages and workflows.

Identifying, creating, developing, maintaining and coordinating project server data collection and customization as well as synchronizing data with MS Project.

Customizing features for end users, including but not limited to custom branding, navigation, configuring and administering search, configuring site collections, content type development, and application design.

Developing business intelligence dashboards.

Develop “train the trainer” materials. Instruct and guide information managers such as operations specialists, IMS managers, risk managers and SharePoint administrators across the PM to use deployed collaboration/information tools.

Support information manager training of information users within the product offices.

Work with SharePoint Administrators and other information managers to maintain and administer deployed tools as information needs evolve.

Conduct and/or guide SharePoint and IMS development within the product offices.

Support agile and other initiatives in accordance with program management principles and PM PNT goals.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Secret clearance is required.

A Bachelor's degree and 12 years of experience or Master's degree and 10 years of experience is required.
