Job Description

DCS is seeking a Network Engineer to support our TARDEC customer’s Ground Vehicle Robotic organization. We are seeking a candidate who can establish secure wired and wireless network connectivity for their lab assets.

Essential Job Functions:

This candidate will be responsible for the deployment and maintenance of computer infrastructure (devOps) tooling to support software development in the lab. tools may include, but are not limited to:

- Network-attached storage
- Lab wiki
- Web-based ticketing solution
- Version control repositories
- Continuous integration servers
- License servers

Job Requirements

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Bachelors degree in an Engineering discipline.

Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.

Experience configuring managed switches
Experience configuring dot1Q network segments
Experience writing and editing firewall rules via CLI
Strong experience with bash (or equivalent) command line shell
Familiarity with client-side and server-side ssh connections
Experience managing Linux and Windows servers in an administrative
capacity.

Desired:

Experience configuring port security (dot1x or MAB)
Experience with wired LTE modem hardware.
Experience deploying wireless access points on a multi-vlan
network.
Experience deploying and maintaining any of the following server
applications.
Network-attached storage.
Lab wiki.
Web-based ticketing solution.
Version control repositories.
Continuous integration servers.
License servers.
Experience working with customers.
Computing hardware procurement experience.
