Job Description

The Contractor shall assist in gathering, assembling, and analyzing source of factual information, such as that found in various accounting systems and reports.

Essential Job Functions:

Provide support to perform contract closeout analyses/activities.

Support analysis of the most current revisions of the FM guidance/regulations to include but not limited to, DoD Financial Management Regulation (FMR) 7000.14R, Budget Guidance and Procedures (AFI 65-601 Vol. 1), Budget Management for Operations (AFI 65-601 Vol. 2), Cost Analysis Guidance and Procedures (AFI 65-508), Appropriations Symbols and Budget Codes (AFMAN 65-604) and GAO Fiscal Principles of Federal Appropriation Law.

Support with gathering and assembling information from MOCAS, Shared Data Warehouse (SDW), Commander’s Resource Integration System (CRIS), General Accounting Finance System (BQ) and CCaRS.

Support, analyze and assist with gathering and assembling information from  sources of factual information in the various accounting systems; and evaluate for errors.

validate commitment, obligation, and expenditure of current and expired year funding execution data and reports.

Assist in canceling funds on various funding documents and reconciling identified discrepancies.

Analyze the liquidation of Unliquidated Obligations (ULOs) for all fiscal years. The Contractor shall be proficient in the analysis and resolution of Negative Unliquidated Obligations (NULOs) for all fiscal years.

Assist with input to the Falcon 20/20 tri-annual review process by validating and reporting ULOs IAW Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) guidance.

Assist with verifying the accuracy of all data inputs from the financial systems against the Government contract and F-16 weapon system prime/subcontractor documentation and, effectively, verbally and in writing, communicate issues to DFAS and weapon system prime contractors and follow-up to ensure corrective action is made.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

A High School Diploma plus 16 years of experience, a Bachelors Degree plus 10 years of experience or a Masters Degree plus 6 year of experience is required.

Current Secret clearance.

At least 3 years in DoD.
