Job Description

Essential Job Functions:

Provide lab user assistance as customer service during lab sessions.

Troubleshoot lab systems in event of failure and repair to restore functionality.

Perform preventative maintenance on avionics and weapons integration lab equipment.

Evaluate, specify, order, test, configure, and maintain AWL facilities and equipment.

Use local procedures and databases to track military avionic assets and calibrated items in testing environment.

Multitask during high operational tempo, perform technical or logistic tasks while supporting multiple lab users in test.

Job Requirements

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

High School graduate or equivalent with 7 years of relevant experience or have completed US Navy “A” School for Aviation and have 5 years of relevant experience. USN / USMC Aviation Electricians, Aviation Electronic Technicians, or Airborne Weapon Systems equivalent training.

Must be able to be granted a security clearance and maintain one for the duration of employment.

Must have a valid driver's license.

Must be available to work any shift.

Desired Skills:

Completed USN Class C School in F/A-18 electrical or electronics repair (36 months O-Level electrical or avionics experience may be substituted for the Class C school). 24 months of F/A-18 O-Level Avionics/Electrician experience; 12 within past 36 months.

Familiarization with Microsoft Word and Excel programs.
