Job Description

Provide IT customer support services to the JSSA AV-8B and T-45 programs.

Essential Job Function: 

Provide support for hardware and software installations, maintenance, and security of Microsoft Windows servers and clients.

Provide complete customer desktop support including; setup, arrangement, application maintenance and upgrades.

Troubleshooting; computer, Operating System, application and network connectivity issues.

DBMS administration: Specifically (MSSQL 2012/2014, Oracle) and Oracle Weblogic experience, including the following database applications: Dimensions CM (Serena), IBM Rational DOORS, Boeing’s IDT, Deltek Cobra.

Assist with Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) scans and patching.

Provide regular antivirus support.

Maintain the labs security posture by working directly with the Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to resolve security issues.

Apply and maintain Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) on a quarterly basis for Zone B, Zone C, and Zone D boundaries.

Scan systems for STIG compliance using Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) scanning utility.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

High school diploma plus 7 years of experience.

Must be able to obtain a security clearance and maintain one for the duration of employment.

Hands-On Experience with Microsoft Windows server and desktop operating systems.

Server back-up applications, RAID systems.

Security+ and Microsoft Server Operating System certifications.

Familiar with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements for operating on a DOD network.

Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) certification will be required in 3-6 months of hire date.
