Job Description

Provide laboratory systems engineering services to the JSSA AV-8B and T-45 programs.

Essential Job Functions:

Support AV-8B and T-45 aircraft integration activities.

Ensure that the laboratory is in a ready-to-test state for AV-8B and T-45 aircraft customers.

Support integration and designing of facilities infrastructure required for laboratory workstations and test sets.

Create / edit electrical and mechanical design (wiring diagrams, diagrams, drawings, and schematics) of laboratory workstations, test sets, and test equipment.

Develop laboratory hardware solutions to support design, development, and integration testing of avionics systems.

Create / edit electronic design of custom laboratory interfaces (circuit card assemblies).

Support customer organizations to identify laboratory requirements and work with the Lab Operations Team to ensure the requirements are met.

Define and refine laboratory hardware and test equipment requirements.

Coordinate with the Lab Task Team and customers to ensure proper maintenance (update/repair/calibration) is being performed to meet customer test requirements and schedule.

Support Lab testing to reproduce issues identified on aircraft. Assist in troubleshooting to isolate anomalies using PASS 3200 Mux-bus analyzer and oscilloscope.

Support IPT engineers to develop prototype solutions and demonstrations for emerging capabilities.

Job Requirements

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline plus 2 years of experience is required.

A Security Clearance and knowledge/experience in the handling and distribution of classified material are required for the position.

Experience using AutoCAD for creating or modifying drawings.

Will be required to utilize PVCS configuration management application and document problem/change reports.

Ability to lead support maintenance of laboratory hardware and software.

Ability to work independently as well as within a team.

Ability to speak/write clearly and professionally.
