Job Description

The Joint Test Planner provides technical and analytical services as part of a multidisciplinary Contractor Team supporting the Joint/Interagency - Ground Air Transponder Operational Risk Reduction (JI ‐ GATOR) Quick Reaction Test at Nellis AFB, NV.

Essential Job Functions:

Participates in test planning, execution, analysis and evaluation activities; submits monthly progress report inputs, and ensures quality of developed deliverables.

Participates in team efforts involved with project and test plan development, test execution, data collection, reduction and test reporting.

Participates in QRT execution activities including: initial test design and drafting the initial QRT Test Plan and Detailed Test Plans and schedules.

Acts as a sub-task lead when assigned by the designated Task Lead.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Research, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics or other related technical field plus at least 5 years of combined Joint/Operational T&E or project management experience.

Must possess an active SECRET clearance.

Test planning experience including test plan development, test execution support, data collection/management and supporting post-test report development.

Familiarity with Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTP) development.

Familiarity with ATC/aircraft tracking and telemetry systems equipment and operation such as Automatic Dependent Surveillance ‐ Broadcast (ADS ‐ B), Traffic Collision and Avoidance System (TCAS) and ATC transponders.

Working knowledge of MS Office suite of products.

Demonstrated strong technical writing skills applied to preparation of test documentation.

Desired Skills:

Military aviation experience.

Previous JT&E, OT&E, JCTD or service experimentation test planning experience including directing efforts of test teams.

Experience in one or more of the following areas: air traffic management, airspace command and control, Signals Intelligence, or electronic warfare.

Experience with risk identification, evaluation and development of mitigation strategies.

Top Secret Clearance.

Experience evaluating M&S tools capability to support T&E and familiarity with M&S V&V process.
