Job Description

The Joint Test Planner provides technical and analytical services as a member of a multidisciplinary Contractor Team supporting the Joint Integrated Network- Korea (JIN-K) Quick Reaction Test at Suffolk, VA.

Essential Job Functions:

Participates in test planning, execution, and analysis/evaluation activities; submits monthly progress report inputs, and ensures quality of developed deliverables.

Participates in team efforts involved with project and test plan development, test execution, data collection, reduction and test reporting.

Participates in QRT execution activities including: initial test design and drafting the initial QRT Test Plan and Detailed Test Plans and schedules.

Acts as a sub-task lead when assigned by the designated Task Lead.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Bachelor’s degree in Operations Research, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics or other related technical field plus a minimum of 5 total years of combined experience in Joint/Operational T&E or project management.

Must possess an active SECRET clearance.

Test planning experience including test plan development, test execution support, data collection/management and supporting post-test report development.

Familiarity with development or operational use of systems intended to provide a common operational Picture (COP) including working knowledge of IT technologies, architectures, and system design/integration.

Demonstrated strong technical writing skills preferably applied to preparation of test documentation and working knowledge of MS Office suite of products.

Desired Skills:

Previous JT&E, OT&E, JCTD or service experimentation test planning experience including directing efforts of test teams.

Operational experience and familiarity with sources and flow of C3 information that supports development of a COP at the tactical and theater levels.

Experience in one or more of the following areas: expeditionary or fixed tactical command post operations, Joint Operations Centers (JOC/JAOC), CENTRIXS networks, JC2 SMART Gateway, Command and Control processes in the Korea theater of operations.

Familiarity with Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTP) development.

Top Secret Clearance.

Experience evaluating M&S tools capability to support T&E and familiarity with M&S V&V process.
