Job Description

DCS is seeking an Information Assurance Analyst at Edwards AFB CA.

Essential Job Functions: 

Develop security accreditation packages.

The Analyst will be responsible for development of, and compliance with, all Information Assurance (IA) related policy, accreditations, security guidance, directives, and taskings.

He/she will be responsible for preparing and implementing the Information Systems (IS) accreditation program IAW the Department of Defense Information Assurance Certification, Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS), Certificates of Net-worthiness (CoN), including all reports required by the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA). 

Includes development of accreditation documentation and packages that conform to the prevailing DOD regulatory guidance and preparing all required accreditation and approval documents.

Document and support network defense, identification/authentication/access control, data protection mechanisms, and data transfer mechanisms.

Analyze security risk assessments, and recommend mitigations and countermeasures to address risks, vulnerabilities and threats.

Compile and validate security documentation, including the system security requirements definition, System Security Plans, and information assurance controls.

Document security designs in hardware, software, data and procedures.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

A High School Diploma plus 10 years of experience, an Associates Degree plus 4 years of experience or a Bachelors Degree plus 2 years of experience is required.

An active Secret security clearance is required.

Applicant selected will be subject to a U.S. Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain a Top Secret Security clearance.

A minimum of 3 years of experience with DoD programs/projects.

Possess the ability to understand and assimilate highly complex technical information, and assist in the assessment, operational planning, testing, and transition of technology to support new USAF programs.

Experience with data gathering, analysis and entry, logical and systematic application of security management knowledge and the use of applicable automated systems.
