Infoscitex, a DCS company, has an opportunity for a Part-Time Human Research Scientist to assist our team at the Applied Neuroscience Branch at the Air Force Research Laboratory at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.

As this Human Research Scientist, you could expect to:

Manage and execute data collection of multiple studies for the Non-Invasive Brain Stimulation Team at AFRL.

Manage data reduction and storage of data for future analysis.

Assist with report writing, journal publications, and conference presentations.

Job Requirements

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

At least an MS degree in Human Factors Psychology or a related technical discipline, PhD candidate preferred; and at least 1 year or relevant experience in a research environment.

Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information: eligible to attain a U.S. DoD Secret security clearance.

Academic publications experience.

Ability to plan, manage, and execute multiple complex analytical studies and interpret the results.

Familiarity with running human subjects in a laboratory setting and collecting various physiological measures such as heart rate, breath rate, various eye-tracking measures, fNIRS, and transcranial doppler.

Experience measuring and understanding multi-tasking performance and other forms of cognitive state assessments.
