Infoscitex is seeking an experienced financial/business analyst to perform financial analysis to determine present and predicted financial performance. As a member of our team, you will support aerospace technologies research in Dayton, OH, having opportunities to work in a dynamic environment, with program managers, projects leads, and business support staff to develop staffing plans and projected budgets for our technical staff. This work focuses on coordinating personnel staffing to meet technical requirements established by project leads while meeting the budgets for those projects. 

Essential Job Functions:

As our Financial Business Analyst, you could expect to:

Work with project leads to develop project staffing plans.

Maintain project management tool; interface with Corporate Finance to ensure updates.

Evaluate the spend plan against the budget to determine if the budget is over/under planned and then work with Project Lead to rectify .

Work with project leads and technical management team to resolve issues with staffing (financial overages, personnel over tasked, etc.); and involve program manager as necessary.

Facilitate monthly meetings with Project Leads and technical management team to review staffing requirements.

Assist Program Manager in development of cost proposals (i.e.; task orders) and cost ROMs for Government.

Assist in maintenance of the DCS Quality Management System (QMS) database.

Other duties as assigned.


Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

At least an Associate’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline and at least 4 years of related experience. (We have multiple levels associated with this opportunity category.  Candidates with advanced degrees or varied levels of experience may be considered for alternative classification.)

Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information: eligible to attain a Secret level U.S. DoD security clearance.

Ability to work across the entire team to consolidate staffing requirements.

Strong interpersonal relationship skills.

Strong written and verbal English communications skills.

Strong experience with databases and spreadsheets.

Ability to work well in team environments.

An ideal candidate may bring the following attributes, although these are not firm requirements for consideration:

Active US DoD security clearance, Secret or higher.

Knowledge and experience with cost accounting systems.
