Position Description:

DCS Corporation is seeking an Engineering Facilities Support Technician for its Warren Michigan location.  Come join our dynamic team in a rewarding environment that provides quality engineering services and support to our U.S. Army Customer.  In this role you will be responsible for heading up inventory control for the facility, shipping and receiving functions, and overall facility maintenance.  The right candidate will also have the opportunity to perform technical support functions supporting the development and integration of technologies and engineering solutions for our customer’s Army Ground Combat Vehicle systems.

Essential Job Functions:

Inventory Control – maintain inventory tracking and control; work with engineering team and technicians on tracking assets (computer equipment, electronics, components), as well as tracking and managing inventory levels of raw materials used in the fabrication of cable harnesses and electronics equipment.

Order Processing – work with engineers to identify equipment and materials needed and execute purchase requests. Contact vendors, obtain vendor quotations based on Engineer’s specifications, prepare and process Purchase Orders.

Shipping & Receiving – Track incoming and outgoing equipment and materials in coordination with our Corporate Headquarters, to include preparation and submission of required forms to include DD-1149s, DD-250s.  Maintain records of equipment and material inventory located within the facility.  Support inventory audits as required.

General Facility Maintenance – coordinate with vendors to maintain facility (exterior and interior); perform routine facility maintenance tasks. Work with our Corporate Services organization to maintain and oversee contracts for building and grounds maintenance, and building security.

Support office safety needs and requirements to comply with MIOSHA regulations.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. citizenship is required.

Associates and 4 years of experience or Bachelors degree and 2 years of experience.

Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.

Experience with Inventory Management and Control Functions – ideally experience in utilizing inventory management control systems to track inventory assets and inventory levels.

Experience with Material Order Processing, Shipping and Receiving Functions.

Detail oriented, Self-starter, Self-initiative, Professional.

Desired Skills:

Experience working in an engineering environment.

CDL License.

Experience with Military Systems, supporting Inventory Tracking of sensitive Government/DoD Equipment.

COMSEC Experience.

Associates Degree in related fields.
