This position is focused on the building, design, and development of Electrical Cable Assemblies and Electro-Mechanical Box Build Assemblies that will be used for Military Ground Vehicle and Marine applications. The position is open to individuals with 4+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing as technician. An Associates/Technical degree and/or IPC certification in Manufacturing/Technician is preferred, but not required.
Essential Job Functions:
Provide support to the Manufacturing team by building, assembling, and testing Cable Assemblies and Electrical-Mechanical Box build assemblies for both production and R&D Engineering Team to help validate designs and offer suggestions for improved reliability and manufacturability.
Resolve any production issues with the Design Team to incorporate any design changes to improve manufacturability.
Assist in developing procedures and reports as required to support the Engineering Team and Field Service Representatives.
Diagnose, Inspect, and repair returned MILSPEC Cables per drawings and perform Root Cause Analysis.
Use of specialty tooling to complete job requirements.
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
High School Diploma / GED and Two Years of experience.
Cable and Box Build design and assembly experience.
Proficient in the use of MRP Systems.
Comfortable working in a fast paced inter-disciplinary environment and handling multiple projects simultaneously.
Self motivated with ability to work in a team environment with a high level of attention to detail.
Desired Skills:
Experience working in a DoD environment.
