Job Description

Provide support to the Data Transfer Device Product Team, responsible for the management of data transfer device assets while coordinating integration and interoperability testing from mission planning to aircraft transfers.

Essential Job Functions:

Maintain a detailed log of all actions taken in the use of required assets and test equipment.

Provide optimal support of the flight test schedule utilizing the available DTD assets.

Setup and maintain support equipment and Data Management Device assets as necessary for integrated operations and for support to all laboratories.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

High school diploma plus four (4) years of experience or an Associate degree/Trade school vocational degree plus two (2) years of experience.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Prior Military Avionics Technician experience, capable of troubleshooting basic electronics circuits and systems with knowledge and understanding of technical manuals.

Knowledge of 4790.26 instructions and maintenance procedures.

Be able to support Laboratory testing, aircraft ground testing, and preflight testing as required to support aircraft flight schedules.

Must be able to flex work hours in support of scheduled test events.

Must be able to travel to test locations in support of aircraft test missions.

Desired Skills:

Well versed in the use of Microsoft Office Suite of tools in support of required documentation and report generation.

NALCOMIS/OOMA Data Base and METCAL program.

Tool control program, ESD procedures, and general shop/work center duties.

Basic Programming knowledge

BS degree
